Hello, I'm Leila.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Therapist practitioner my mission is to enhance the quality of life for each of my patients.
Since becoming a licensed clinician in 2016, I have offered personalized mental health therapy in diverse settings. My experience includes working with children and families in a partial hospitalization facility, incarcerated men, women, and youth in the prison setting, as well as community based outpatient therapy for adult men and women.
I now exclusively work with adults aged 18 years and above, offering tele-therapy from the comfort of their own home. All sessions are completely confidential.
With nearly a decade of experience in mental health care, I specialize in providing support to individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, sexual issues, and mood disorders. However, my services are not limited to these issues.

With a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, I incorporate complementary Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic approaches to provide structured, goal-oriented and evidence-based care.
What is CBT-orientated therapy?
CBT-oriented therapy is structured and focused on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns. Together, we will work on developing practical strategies to change unhelpful behaviors and improve emotional well-being. I also encourage my patients to engage in positive behaviors that help counteract their negative emotions, such as facing their fears or practicing relaxation techniques. Additionally, I teach my patients coping strategies and problem-solving skills to manage stress and emotions more effectively.
Does my insurance cover therapy?
I accept most Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance plans. Coverage varies by insurance plan, so it is best to check with your insurer to understand your specific benefits.
What should I expect from my first therapy session?
In your first session, we'll discuss your concerns, goals, and background. This is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin developing a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. I focus on helping my patients develop self-help skills, so they can continue to make progress and manage their well-being long after our sessions have ended.
How do I know it is time to seek therapy?
When you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or notice persistent changes in your mood, behavior, or relationships, it may be time to seek therapy. If your daily life or well-being is being impacted, therapy can provide valuable support and guidance.
